FILMKULTURA is an organization dedicated to education in audiovisual culture and art, whose goal is the stimulation of a critical approach in the specified fields.

This kind of program focuses greatly on children and youth audience, especially on their initiation into the world of audiovisual media and culture. “Filmkultura” also stimulates linkage between film professionals, as well as their perfecting and specialization. The guiding idea of “Filmkultura” is to revive the cinema culture, and the culture of watching audiovisual content in general, as well as to substantiate the audiences awareness with theoretical knowledge.

“Filmkultura” finds its place in mediating between talented authors and demanding viewers, and its main cause is creating and shaping this part of the cultural space.

“Filmkultura” intends to provide and produce:

  • education projects in the field of audiovisual culture and art intended for wide audience
  • improvement programs for students, young authors and professionals in the field of audiovisual art
  • gathering place and a society of authors, critics and audiovisual art lovers

 

Founders of “Filmkultura” are:

So far, Filmkultura succesfully produced several projects, including MINI FILM, film workshops for children and youth; three yearly editions of THE SHORTEST DAY, part of World day of short film; and two editions of NATIONAL FILM DAYS, programme dedicated to promotion of domestic cinema in Serbia.

 

MARIJA STOJANOVIC
Film Producer

Born in 1986. in Belgrade, Serbia.
Studied film and TV production at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.
Since 2007 works as a freelance film professional (assistant director, production manager, location manager) on many Serbian and international film projects (’’Krugovi’’, ’’Varvari’’, ’’Praktični vodič kroz Beograd sa pevanjem i plakanjem’’, ’’My Beautiful Country’’, ''Mothers'').
Participant of Screenwriting workshop «FILM TEEP» in Bucharest, Romania (2013) .
Participant of Sarajevo Talent Campus and «Pack and Pitch» program (2013).
Co-founder and coordinator of educational program Cinema Youth and Cinema City Campus (2014), within the Cinema City International Film Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Currently works at SENSE Production, where she's developing as a producer her own feature film project «Mostly on the Weekeends».

 

VANJA KOVACEVIC
Film Editor / Film Director

Born in 1978. in Serbia.

MA in film and TV editing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

Participant of Berlinale Talent Campus (2005).

Worked as journalist and program author at TV B92 (1998 – 2002).

Directed five short fiction, experimental and documentary films.

Her first documentary feature “Zvezda je rodjena” (“A Star is Born”) won many prizes on the festivals.

Worked as editor on over 70 music videos, TV commercials, series and shows,

and on numerous short fiction films.

Edited a feature film “The Box” (directed by Andrijana Stojković) which was screened

on prestigious festivals.

Director of film production company All Inclusive Films, in Belgrade.

Currently developing her second full-lenght documentary “Picture This”.

 

ANDRIJANA STOJKOVIC
Film Director / Screenwriter / Film Producer

Born in 1976. in Serbia.

MA in film and TV directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

Assistant professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, Documentary Filmmaking course.

Author of 7 short fiction films and 8 short documentary films; two full-lenght documentary films and one feature film (“The Box”).

Her films were screened and awarded at numerous prestigious international film festivals.

Some of the films were aired on televisions YLE (Finland) i CANAL + (France).

Member of the Arts Council of the Film Center Serbia working as an adviser for minority co-productions.

Member of the Executive Council of the Serbian Film Directors Association.

Founder of the film production company All Inclusive Films, in Belgrade.

 

MASA SENICIC
Screenwriter / Dramaturg

Born in 1990. in Belgrade, Serbia.

BA in film and TV dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

Currently attends Master studies at the Department of Theory of Drama and Media at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

Completed course on digital photography “Axelfoto” (2009).

Participant of Sarajevo Talent Campus, Screenwriters program (2013).

Since 2011, works primarily on film as author of screenplays (‘’Momci, gde ste’’, Kristalna prizma 2013) and as co-screenwriter. Works also in theater and TV, on many Serbian and international projects.

Developing a script for her first feature film «Ask Me Something More Complicated», which was supported by the Ministry od Culture and Information in the category Screenplay development for 2012.

Works for FEST and BITEF, as well as for Auteur Film Festival and International Festival of Student's Theatre in Belgrade, as moderator of panel discussions and round tables.

 

JELENA STANKOVIC
Cinematographer / Film Director

Born in 1974. in Belgrade, Serbia.

MA in film and TV camera at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

Participant of Berlinale Talent Campus (2004).

Participant of European Film Academy workshop with director Mike Figgis in Ljubljana, Slovenia (2004).

Worked as director of photography and cameraperson on numerous short fiction and documentary films.

Directed three short fiction films, three documentaries and one animation.

Worked as director of photography on feature films “Something Memorable”,

“Practical Guide to Belgrade with Singing and Crying’’ and “Fatal Film” (in production).

For ten years works in a production team of European Feature Documentary Film Festival “Magnificent Seven”, in Belgrade.

Member of Association of Film Artists of Serbia.

 

MILAN STOJANOVIC
Film Producer

Born in 1983. in Belgrade, Serbia.

Studied film and TV production at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade.

Attended a film course at the New York Film Academy.

First Laureate at Cottbus Film Festival (an award for young producers from East Europe).

Participant of the EAVE European Producers Workshop (2014).

Producer of a feature film “Barbarians'' (KVIFF, Special Mention) as well as an award-winning tourist film ’’SOULFOOD Serbia’’.

Line producer on films: ’’Krugovi’’ (“Circles”, dir. Srdan Golubović), ’’Majki’’ (“Mothers”, dir. Milčo Mančevski), ’’Destricted’’ (dir. Marina Abramović, Gaspar Noe...).

Program director of Cinema City International Film Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia.
